Ce matin le brouillard enveloppait toute la côte.Ceci ne nous a pas empêché de partir de très bonne heure à la recherche d'un spot,et à 8h30 nous étions à l'eau pour surfer "the point" à San Onofre.Petit à petit le soleil fit son apparition et cette deuxième session de notre séjour Californien nous a permis de faire réaliser par Barrie quelques images (cf album photos).
Après cette session ,Steve et Barrie nous ont fait profiter de leur expérience en nous coachant lors d'une longue séquence de portés au sol.Nouveaux portés ,mais surtout une aide technique,de nombreux"petits secrets" dévoilés pour la réalisation des "lifts".
Après un passage au surf shop de Steve (cf photo) pour récupérer (enfin) notre tandem livré par Air France,nous avons partagé un repas dans un restaurant Thai.Puis re-départ pour San Onofre pour surfer cette fois le spot de "four doors" jusqu'au coucher du soleil(cf photo) en mettant à profit les nombreux conseils de nos amis Californiens.
Cette deuxième journée fut "a great day" et se termina le soir par une petite séance de debriefing en visionnant les images videos du matin.Lorsque Barrie nous dit que nous ne sommes pas ici pour sortir le soir,mais pour "training",elle sait de quoi elle parle...
L'ambiance à l'eau est plutôt sympa,beaucoup de longboardeurs,des "olds guys",habitués des spots depuis plusieurs dizaines d'années pour certains,et pour qui deux visages inconnus,surtout sur une planche de tandem,ne passent pas inaperçus. "where do you come from?" ,"Biarritz ,France, bonjjjour" (pronnoncer avec l'accent américain,ils adorent pronnoncer quelques mots en français),"you 're welcome".Demain,comme ce matin ,lever 7H,pour choisir le meilleur spot,quand nous pensons que certains nous imaginent en vacances...
This morning fog was on the cote. It doesn't matter to look for a spot, then at 8.30 we went to the water to surf "the point" at San Onofre. Little by little, the sun appearred in that second session of the day of our Californian trip and we had the chance to get some pictures taken by Barrie (cf albums pictures). After that session, Steve and Barrie who we have gave the chance with in coaching us with a long lifts lessons. New lifts, but escpecially a technic help, a lot of "little secrets" for the realisation of "lifts".After going to Steve shop (cf picture) to get back our Tandem surf board delivery by Air France, we shared a lunch in a Thai restaurant. Then we' re going back again to San Onofre to surf the spot of "the four doors" till the sunset (cf picture) then we followed our friends Californian advices.That second session has been a "great one" and finishing the night in watching our videos of the day. When Barrie says that we' re here to not going out, but for "training", she knows what she talks about... The atmosphere in the water is nice, a lot of longboarders, some "old guys", usual for at least ten years for most of them, and for them, two stangers faces on the same board, can' t be missed "where do you come ,"Biarritz ,France, bonjjjour" (prononced with the American accent, they love prononce some French words), "you' re welcome".Tomorrow, as at this morning, waking up at 7am, to choose the best spot, when we think that some people believe that we're on holidays, it's not
